o.p.p. – doily paper napkins

i don’t know how many times i’ve seen those martha stewart paper punches online or at a craft store and thought “hmmmm… I think I could do something cool with that, but what?” – well, here it is…

these napkins (or serviettes as they call them here in Oz) are too cute for words (one of my favorite sayings). they are sure to add a vintage touch and maybe even a bit of refinement to your upcoming shindig.

tip: michael’s has a great stock of these punches in store + check their website’s weekly ad as they typically have pretty awesome 20-60% off coupons.

the cutest (bloom theory) straps!

what an awesomely cute product (or possible project… it could be something fun for a girls night in).

these camera straps are romantic, vintage & unique.

i love. love. love.

o.p.p. – scratch off cards

ok… i hate to have yet another martha stewart creation, but the timing for this could not be any more appropriate – so here i go (thanks to not martha‘s pinterest for bringing this to my attention)!

on the back of my ‘smile-worthy greetings’ post, i found this handy little how-to for making your own scratch off cards, coupons, tickets or any other random what-have-you….

how clever? and not to mention – super easy & cheap!

martha’s team has the instructions referencing a save the date, but come on and get creative – you can use this recipe for a plethora of crafty things. I must (& will) incorporate this into an upcoming party or special event!

o.p.p. – doily tablecloth

a few years ago, my mom gave me a bag filled w/ old doilies that were hers, my grandmother’s and my great grandmother’s.

every time i do a little design switcheroo, i think that i’m going to incorporate this lovely lace into my design.  however… when i get them out onto a table, i decide i don’t like how the singular one’s look and i feel like i’m forcing the incorporation.

but now i think i’ve finally found a solution to give them the tlc and showcase they deserve.

gather up your doilies – lace, cotton, solid or crocheted and create a pretty little tablecloth.

thanks martha.

o.p.p. – green beer

while i’m no longer in the land of green rivers (the body of water nor the soda)… my love for st. patrick’s day and all things green continues to persevere.

to keep the kitschy spirit of the holiday alive, i bring you a recipe that is sure to put a smile on many faces. drum roll please… how to make ‘GREEN BEER’ from the folks at myrecipes.com!

it’s a pretty easy no brainer figuring out the key ingredients here. beer, food coloring, a glass or mug -and- some luck of the irish.

cheers!
