o.p.p. – waterfall braid

i love a good braid and always have. I remember being 10 years old and absolutely rocking a tight french braid in the 5th grade.

The times may be a changin’, but braids withstand the years and as we see – transform from tight to loose, back to side and neat to messy.

I recently stumbled upon this lovely look that transforms a loose look into a boho greek goddess do.

While I still need a little practice in my braid execution, I hope to get there and eventually obsess and rock it just as I did 20 years ago (though the low side one is already a fast hair day go-to). The key: a little patience and some guidance from my awesome hairstylist of a sister who is a braiding wiz (if you are near SoCal – visit Abby @ Madison Salon in Newport Beach).

For the full how-to on this look, get the deets below.

I love hair ideas! such a great way to change your look and keep hair out of your face. I always have a hard time doing this specific type of braid and my roommate always has to do it for me. The directions were great and I know practice will make perfect!
